Most organizations working in political and government spaces have more activity than traction. The gap between the two is usually where the real problem lives.
I founded Civic Alchemy to work in that gap — with nonprofits, foundations, intermediaries, and community-based organizations — on how systems actually move, how decisions get made, and what it takes to turn an idea into something real.
Sometimes an organization is doing the work every day without knowing if it’s moving anything. Sometimes a program just hasn’t broken through yet. Sometimes the terrain is clear but the landmines aren’t.
The work changes. The throughline doesn’t.
